About Me

Hi. I’m Sifat. I’m in my early 20s. I’ll be an international grad student at NYU from this fall, and I am looking for a long term lease on a room in NY within USD 700-800. Move-in is on 20th August. I’m open to places, but would like to be as close as possible to lower Manhattan.

The room needs not to be too big, but as big as needed to house a decently sized bed for one person (not necessarily a queen), a study table and a place where I can keep my clothes.

I’m very easy going and fun (although in a quiet sort of way). I like to believe that I am very clean and would not hesitate to contribute to the tidiness of our shared space. It goes without saying that I would like my roommates to be just as clean. This will be my first time in NY, so friendly and sociable folk are highly appreciated. I’m a strong believer of your right to privacy and would expect the same from you. I’m a big fan of 420. And I’m definitely pets and LGBTQIA friendly.

I’ll be working on my profile for admission to a PhD program in Econ during my stay. This basically implies a lot of studies and that I would prefer a quiet living environment. Nonetheless, I love movies and TV. Netflix-and-chill over the weekends is the most obvious sort of get together that I’m hoping for. Despite that, I would not mind keeping it to myself too.

My maximum monthly budget 900
Move in Date Aug 2019
Age 23
Occupation Student
Pets No Pets
Hometown Dhaka, Bangladesh
Education New York University
Relationship Status Single

We think Sifat would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
