Hi, I’ve been living in a suburban apartment by myself for almost a year now. This was my first time living alone, and there’s definitely pros and cons. I hope to move to Chicago or Oak Park when my lease ends in July. I’m currently working as a NICU nurse, I work 12 hour shifts, 3 nights a week (7pm to 7:30 am). So on my work days I sleep a lot during the day and after my shifts. On my off days I’m up during the day mostly. Ideally, I’d like a roommate who’s respectful of that and not super noisy on the days I have to sleep for work. Also, I find myself at that age where I’m growing apart from most of my friends and it’s hard to make new friends because I don’t go to school anymore and mostly work with older people lol. So it would be nice to find a close friendship as well as a roommate. I hope we match!
