Roommate Wanted for 2BR in Gowanus

Looking for a female or LGBTQ male roommate to join a new lease for a bedroom in a two bedroom apartment starting August 1st or ASAP. Gas/heat and electric included. Living space is fully furnished, bedroom space will unfurnished.

The room has southern light, can accommodate a queen size bed and desk, and has two large closets.

The building does not have laundry but the apartment does have a dishwasher! There is drop off/pick up laundry 2 blocks from the apartment.

About me: I am an interior designer who works in Manhattan 2/3 days a week while working from home the other days. I cook at home a few times a week and am away on weekends about once to twice a month. I’m looking for someone respectful of the space and its contents in addition to being respectful of noise. The ideal roommate can clean up after themselves and keep the common spaces tidy.

I am a big fan of art, thrifting, anime, video games, cocktails and cooking. I clean the apartment once a week and tidy up every day. This is not a party apartment but friends are always welcome.
