$1000 1 bedroom in 2-bed in South Slope flex sublease Dec. 1 start

Looking for a roommate to fill the second bedroom in my two-bedroom apartment. You’ll be sharing with me, a 31 year old journalist who works from home full time and my sweet cat Remy (pictured). Ideal move-in date is Dec. 1 for a minimum of one-month sublease and up to six-months, depending on your needs.

Here are the details:
• $1000 per month+ half of utilities (Internet, gas, electric). Heat is included.
• Two-bedroom, first floor apartment on a quiet, safe street in South Slope between 6th and 7th.
• The room comes unfurnished or furnished with a twin bed and frame, closet, desk and chair, a small stool and a small set of drawers. Kitchen includes basics you can use (plates, bowls, silverware, pot). It has a closet and bright windows that look out on the leafy green, shared backyard.
• Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment.
• Dishwasher and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen
• Renovated bathroom with a shower/jet tub.
• Basement storage.
• Backyard access.
• 10-15 minute walk to two D/N/R stops and and two F/G stops.
• Nearby are Prospect Park; Greenwood Park beer garden; Nitehawk movie theater; grocery stores; pharmacies; laundry; and Park Slope shops & restaurants.
• Plenty of parking in the neighborhood if you have a car.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for a few years and love it because it’s accessible, quiet, pretty and safe. The place is set up for your arrival(couch, tv, dining table & chairs, shared bookshelf, decor etc.)
I’m asking for $1,000 in security for longer than one-month shares.

I’m looking to room with someone with a full time job or who works full time hours. Hoping you’re a cat lover (without a cat of your own) with a clean-as-you-go, respectful approach to sharing common space. Looking for someone who is responsible and friendly.
