I'm a program director, choreographer, and dancer currently living in Indianapolis. I did my studies here in theatre, contemporary dance, and music while also working an undergraduate internship in event management, and recently received my post-graduate certification in project management. I'm looking to move to NYC for better career and relationship opportunities. I need to leave Indy since there aren't any opportunities for SAG-AFTA representation here (or any adult representation outside of modeling), and performance contracts typically offer lower pay. There are also more opportunities to manage creative projects in NYC since Indy is predominantly a sports city.

I also own my own dance practice, RMJ Studios, which offers virtual and in-person dance classes. Ironically, studio rent is significantly cheaper in NYC than in Indy. I have a setup to teach classes from my 800sq foot apartment in Indy that's pretty easy to tear down and store. I typically set up about an hour before my classes, and tear down immediately after. I have plans for expansion, and NYC is the perfect place for this. I'll also be looking for other studios around NYC to teach classes at, and I'll be working from home on my studio and summer programs for a studio in Indy. My assistant would be handling the hands-on operations throughout the regular Academy year, and I'll likely be returning to Indy June-July to run those summer programs.

Outside of work, I also love to write, play video games, and go out to enjoy shows and nightlife. I'm pretty tame when I go out, especially since I work so much, but I like to have a good time.
