Spacious room in Rego Park, Queens!

Hi!

I'm looking for a roommate to take over one room and sign the lease ( expires October of this year) in a spacious two-bedroom 1-bath apartment in Rego Park, Queens. If you’re interested you can definitely take over the lease after the end of the term. The current tenant is able to move into their own apartment so we’re looking for someone to fill the room starting March or April 1st. The apartment building has an elevator, parking garage, and an onsite laundry room. The tenant who is moving has a cat(the cat will not be here here at move in) so I’m cool with small pets(cats, fish etc.). I’m willing to consider couples as well.

I’m renting out the master bedroom for $1250 per month. We'd be splitting the cost of internet, gas, and electricity. The room is HUGE with plenty of closet space (one in the room and another in the hallway). See photos (room with bed with paisley bedsheets and white chair). As you can see there's plenty of space for furniture! The living room and kitchen are very roomy and separate from one another

Move in would require 1st month’s rent and security so $2500 in total.

The apartment is in a great area, a 2-minute walk to the subway station (M,R), and a 20 subway minute ride from Manhattan. Another perk is that the Rego Park mall (Costco/Ikea) is around a 7-minute walk from the building. There's a grocery store that is basically next door and plenty of restaurants to satisfy your takeout desires. You'd also be near great neighborhoods like Jackson Heights and Forest Hills.
