About Me

I'm a 30-year-old, disabled and chronically ill, nonbinary queer (demisexual) with a 9 year career in sex education, writing, and sex work. I'm currently seeking a home for myself and my nesting partner (28/trans femme) in the PDX area after moving us both cross-country from the Southeast in the last 3 years.

I've lived in housemate arrangements with various levels of interaction in the past (from literally best friends to "you're the landlord and I barely see you"), and I'm happy with any of those options as long as you're an open communicator who is comfortable discussing your needs and respecting boundaries, and open to negotiating accessibility needs for someone with extreme chronic pain and fatigue. I alternate between a cane and a walker, so I'll be scrutinizing potential living spaces for my mobility concerns.

I went to school for social work and web development and have worked several different jobs in the last decade, but I've maintained my career online that entire time. It's now my primary hustle, so I will always be working from home.

Even though I'm probably always around I don't leave my nest much, so if we're living together you're unlikely to see me on a regular basis unless you request my presence or we build a friendship. However, I do love game nights and will happily join yours once COVID ends if that's a thing your household does.

In my downtime I enjoy horror media, gaming, mental health work, divination and witchcraft, and I've probably got one of my comfort shows on in the background. I sing, but only during household waking hours.

My partner is seeking a job in the local area and is pretty introverted - she spends most of her time plugged up to her phone or with me.

I'm high risk for COVID and trying to stay as far away from it as possible. No one in our household goes out for purposes other than domestic errands or medical appointments at this time - my partner runs to the store for me most days. I'd prefer to live with people who are practicing mindful pandemic hygiene rather than folks crowding into bars or going maskless during this time.

I'm also a domestic violence survivor with a major case of C-PTSD. If you or any of your housemates have a relationship that involves a person coming over and fighting, yelling, throwing things, or anything else nonconsensually hostile, loud, or violent, I can't live with you for my own health, and will have to bail very suddenly from a living arrangement if I find this going on. Please assess your household's relationships honestly in this regard for optimal household stability.
