Hello! I am Silas McBride. I am a recent graduate of architecture school at NJIT in Newark, NJ. I lived and worked there for the last five years while studying architecture, but found time to take a break back home for the summer. I am currently working for a Brooklyn firm remotely and am trying to get back into the city on a budget — preferably in Brooklyn where there is more space and less tourism.

As far as "hobbies" go, I draw a lot, begin my mornings with reading and tea, try to find time to exercise and generally have an affinity for being outside. Despite certainly leaning towards introversion, I like living a social life on the weekends and often visit friends in New York and Philadelphia. I am in a long-term relationship with a great partner who also just graduated from architecture school with me. I like my spaces to be organized, but do not need them to be religiously clean and am generally pretty adaptable to respectful roommates. I should add that I am used to living with others in small spaces as I come from a big family and shared living spaces throughout the duration of college. Despite not having one of my own, I love having animals around.
