I'm a 26-year-old professional from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am new to the city and am moving there for a job located in the financial district. I want to move into an apartment in the first week of December and am looking for something that is 60 minutes or less from my work. Anywhere in Manhattan seems to be great otherwise some areas of Brooklyn and Jersey City / Hoboken also work.

I am currently living in Montana with my boyfriend. He will be staying in Montana whilst I move to NYC but he is expected to visit often - maybe once a month. He is also a working professional so he won't be staying for long durations of time. I just want to find a roommate who is open to having guests (friends/family) stay.

I do not have any pets but am open to sharing an apartment with any dogs. My own dog still lives in Ireland so if I get to spend time with your four-legged companion I won't be upset about it. Unfortunately, I am slightly allergic to cats.
