I am a friendly 52 yr old woman.
I have been in my apt for 17 yrs which is located mid-west 50s between 8th and 9th, Hell's Kitchen. This is a studio apartment share. Rent includes 1/2 of the utilities. First and last month's rent is required if any longer than 1 month. Long term is desired. You will be 4 blocks from Central Park, all subway lines at Columbus Circle and the N/R/Q/W.
It is a large studio with a private dressing area off the bathroom with a door so there is privacy. There are two clear areas of the apartment divided by a desk currently, but we can put up a temporary screen as well. However, the space you would occupy is by the only windows in the apartment, and the heat and air conditioning, so it couldn't be fully enclosed.
I've shared this space in the past long-term. You would have your own closet and your own shelves/drawers. There is a table that you could set a computer up at, or, you could set it up on the coffee table/storage chest. There is wi-fi/internet/landline/air-con/space heater included, however, you would have to bring your own TV. I am currently using my computer as a TV. Laundry in the basement and a part-time doorman.
