Hi, I’ve been living in astoria for about 4 years and absolutely loving it. I work as an art director at an experiential marketing agency and it’s fully remote—work from home. I like cooking once in a while but always clean up afterwards and pretty good with keep things tidy: I don’t bring lots of guests but a few of my friends occasionally make visit. i’m also fine with your overnight guests as long as you notify me ahead of the time.
I usually keep things private but I get social with my roommates from time to time over a coffee or a nice meal.
I look forward to find a like minded people with common sense!

I’m looking for a new roommate as my current is moving in with her boyfriend.
Our place is on the third floor of s three story building. Your huge room will be unfurnished so you can bring your own furniture.
There are ample space for communal area including living room, bathroom and especially kitchen. Lots of storage spaces and your room comes in with a walk in closet that can fit a full size bed. It also has its separate entrance to the hallway.
laundromats are in walking distance within a few blocks, keyfood is literally is across the street, and a cute cafe that carries La colombe coffee and Balthazaar pastries is also a block away. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, although there are quite some car traffics but at tolerable level. There’s a church nearby as well.
Utilities(electricity, gas, internet) come about $60~$80 in the summer and cost more $300+ in the winter for the heating.
Sadly, our landlord doesn’t allow any pets in the building.
I’m looking for a female roommate with a common sense for privacy and cleanliness. But I’m also open to have a casual chat or foods together with my roommate when I’m not busy with work. I’m usually quiet and discreet in general.
Sadly, our landlord doesn’t allow any pets in the building.
