Looking for roomate in 4bdrm home, you have your own washroom, terrace and parking space if needed
Unit: 1 bedroom in a gigantic 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom gem of a home in Cabbagetown
Price: $1750 per month including parking, plus utilities (ranges from ~$50 in the summer to ~$100 in the winter)
Rent Control: Unit was used for residential purposes prior to Nov 15 2018
Location: Gerrard between Parliament and Sherbourne, minutes walk away from no frills, shoppers, great restaurants and more
Relationship to unit: Current tenant seeking roommate
Lease terms: This is a roommate search for a 6-month sublet but hopefully long term after that. Our current roommate and dear friend bought a place with their partner and will be moving out 🙁
Required Documents: Proof of income, last month's rent deposit
Additional Information: The room will be on the second floor of a 3 storey house. You have an ensuite bathroom with a skylight, two closets and your own private terrace. Room is unfurnished. Private parking is available if you have a car. Ample space everywhere for furniture, kitchen appliances and storage if needed. You'd be joining Brian, Tom and Deb, in our cozy Victorian home.
About Us: We’re looking for a thoughtful housemate to fill the soon-to-be hole in our hearts as our current lovely roomie is moving out. Due to our different schedules and how massive the house is, we often spend our time on our own but also get together on occasion to have a meal or walk or support each others' endeavours (eg. both Deb and Tom are quite musical). There is a weekly cleaning schedule and general tidiness standards that everyone respects.
About You: Kind communicator and good listener who aims to keep our house a positive, safe and friendly space. Takes financial and housework obligations seriously. We had a great rapport with our old roommate/friend and would love to find someone who can get along similarly.
