The apt is 1,300 square feet in total with adorable features including a huge communal living space, a dining alcove, large separate kitchen, and built in tiled fireplace. The room has high ceilings, tons of storage space, a real closet AND private jack and jill vanity room! Current tenant has a full sized lofted bed for purchase that gives the room a ton of space. The walls are currently pink but can be painted at your request. The apt has two bathrooms and you would share with one other roommate. It is an amazing location on a tree lined street close to Riverside and Central Park. The 1 train is very close (3 min walk). 10 min walk to Columbia . Nearby are tons of fun affordable restaurants & bars! On the corner is a Duane Read and two laundromats a block away! Rent is $1,366 a month. Additionally utilities are about $50 per month (depending on season, usually less). You will be moving in with two females in their early 20's. One is a student studying at FIT and the other works in the fashion industry.
The Ideal Roommate is a student or young professional who is clean! The two current roommates are both involved in the fashion industry. While overnight guests are fine we do not "bring the party home." We have hobbies that keep us out and about but we like to have a movie night or binge Community. We are both Disney fans, so if you are nerdy this is a safe space!
