A little about me: (1) I'm a Client Engagement Manager for a cloud consulting and implementations firm based in Soho, (2) I'm a big hip-hop head, though I dabble in trip hop and love live jazz and blues, and (3) I'm always looking for the next novel city experience or trip abroad.

I previously lived in the UES for 3 years, and Long Island City for another two. My lease ends on April 30, so ideally I'm looking for a move-in date in late April / early May. I'm a respectful roommate, always keep my place clean, and would be interested in getting to know my roommate as a person as well. Generally during the week I don't stay out late, but on the weekends I like to explore and have some nights out. I've been in a relationship for just under a year, and my preference would be to have my girlfriend over just a few nights a week (usually 2x); likewise, I expect that I'll be staying over at her place a similar amount of nights/week.

In terms of apartment logistics, ideally I'm looking to split a 2BR with someone. I'm open to apartments in Long Island City, Lower Manhattan, and certain neighborhoods in Brooklyn that are closer to Manhattan (ex. DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Williamsburg, Greenpoint).

Would prefer a building with a doorman and some amenities, like a gym and some outdoor space, but that's not my highest priority. Roommate gender and all that doesn't matter to me. Just hoping that you're an honest, reasonable and interesting person...and if you have an elevator in your building, well then how could I turn that down?
