Hi
I'm an Australian in the process of applying for jobs to make the move to Manhattan. I have a couple of Aussie friends who have already moved over there, so I figure if they can do it, so can I.
I'm a communications professional who comes from a smallish city on the West Coast of Australia (Perth). Its a little to quiet for my liking and I'm hoping to escape the small-town fate of getting married, having kids and moving to the burbs.
4-7I own an apartment here and take a lot of pride in having a tidy, organised and nicely furnished home.
In terms of my schedule, I like to keep it low key during the week (work gym sleep) and save the partying for the weekend.
I enjoy most kinds of music, love board games, getting dressed up for a night out but also sitting around in fat pants watching bad TV.
My prior room mate experiences have taught me that its important to have a balance between enjoying the company of your roommates but also having a little space. I definitely need a little alone time every day and cant be 'on' 24/7.
The only things I can think of which could be a mismatch are untidiness, bring the party home during the week types and the militantly political (both liberal and conservative).
LOVE PETS - dont plan on getting any of my own but i'll gladly co-parent yours (that sounds creepy but whatever).
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,300 |
| Move in Date | Oct 2017 |
| Lease Duration | 6 Months |
| Age | 34 |
| Occupation | Manager, Corporate Communications At Department Of Treasury Wa |
| Pets | Pet Friendly |
| Hometown | Sydney, Australia |
| Education | Monash University |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Anna would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
