Hi everyone! My name is María Paula Ordóñez, and I’m from Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. I’m 27 years old and will be starting a Human Resources certificate program at Northeastern University in September 2025. I’m 100% tapatía—born and raised in Mexico—but I’ve had international experiences, including studying abroad in Minnesota for a year and a half and taking courses in Colorado. I also have family in Texas, so I’m familiar with U.S. culture and lifestyle!

I’m looking to move to Boston around August to get settled before classes start. I’ll be there for about 8 months - 1 year , depending on my certificate completion. Ideally, I’d love a place close to campus with female roommates—open to an apartment, house, or whatever works!

A bit about me:
I’m Catholic, super kind, friendly, and a big social butterfly. I’m very close to my family, adventurous, and a total foodie. I love going out—whether it’s museums, sports games, nightlife, diners, bars, or clubs—but I also enjoy calmer plans like picnics, beauty, health care days, hiking and brunch. Shopping is my guilty pleasure! I can be a bit messy in my personal space but very considerate when sharing one—not a neat freak, but also not full-on Alix Earle levels of chaos.
