I own a house that is ideal for sharing. We have a great front porch, back patio, a large kitchen, dining, and living room, and plenty of storage space.
My partner and I live upstairs and have a bathroom on our level. We are both teachers. A 50 something man has one of the bedrooms on the lower level. The room for rent is next to a shared bathroom in a hallway between the two bedrooms. The room is 14 by 14 and has a closet and two windows.

Everyone in the house is friendly, but likes to stay busy doing their own thing. This has made this an easy shared living situation.
