**Looking for a Roommate in Cabbagetown/Regent Park, downtown Toronto!**

Hey there! We're a friendly professional couple, Ernesto (an engineer from Mexico City) and Tia (an Immigration Lawyer with Caribbean roots), in our early 30s looking for a roommate to join our three-bedroom plus office, 2.5 bathroom townhouse. Rent is $1500, inclusive of utilities and internet.

You'd have your own spacious bedroom (unfurnished), with closet, and most often, a private bathroom since the third room is dedicated as an office/guest space and generally unoccupied. There’s a small yard too, with a BBQ year round and Smoker and hottub in the summer.

We're fairly social and like hosting family/friends gatherings and BBQs in warmer months, but most evenings for us are quiet chilling at home and watching TV after work. Cleanliness in common areas is very important to us. Ernesto's big pet peeve is clutter in the living room, and Tia's is old food left to spoil. We are lovers of wine, good steak, the TSO, Mirvish, Modern Family, Murdoch Mysteries, and travelling as much as possible.

We also have a dog, Riley. She's almost 10 years old, likes her routines, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but is a sucker for ice cream.

The house is non-smoking, including in the yard. Parking may be possible.

The neighbourhood is very convenient. It's a short walk to 505, 506, and 65 lines which will get you to the 1 or 2 subway lines quickly. There are loads of great resturants and cafes within walking distance. Frescho is 3 minutes walk away for groceries, and there are sports fields, gyms, and community centers nearby for staying active.

The room is available now, but finding the right fit is the most important thing for us, so the start date is flexible. If you're keen on creating a warm, inviting, clean home environment and think you'd be a good fit, let us know a bit about yourself!
