Hi! My name is Shastri Lloyd, I am a Black gay man born and raised in NYC, looking to move from Queens to Brooklyn. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is an effective communicator with a strong sense of seeing the humanity in people. I love to entertain, so someone who is comfortable with me inviting people over and potentially having some house events/parties. Completely comfortable with the other way as well, let's make a schedule! I am currently single so there is potential for me to have the occasional date over. I work from home, so I will be around most of the day. I am very social so I will be out most of the weekend nights! I would love to have a cat one day, so hopefully a roommate who is comfortable with this (Not really looking for a dog situation although I am open to discussion). I am very flexible, I don't really have an ideal roommate. I have a strong preference for a Black roommate, or a roommate who is also Black and LGBTQ+ identified (or at least friendly to the community). As long as you can tell me directly what your needs are or if there is an issue, we will work. I am very direct (first generation Caribbean child - IFYKYK) and I am very organized. I am pretty clean but I recognize I can do better in my personal space (however, I will never leave any shared spaces messy; hopefully we can get an apartment with a dishwasher lol.) I also own a car, so that's a plus if we need to get groceries or do laundry. We can be great friends, or we can stay in our own space; honestly whichever you prefer!
