These roommate websites seemed geared for hookups...I just want to rent out some rooms and make some money.

Two rooms for rent, one room next to seldom used bathroom (700), the other is furnished with its own private bathroom (900)

Beautiful newer 7 bedroom house in Southern Highlands with community pool. You’ll share the house with me (the owner) and one other roommate with their own room.

Free utilities. Free high-speed internet. Perhaps free streaming, I tend to switch. Possibly EV charging for a fee. House has a laundry room with two LG washers. You will get full use of the kitchen and have your own pantry space. There is an outdoor kitchen island for cooking as well. If you like cooking large stinky exotic meals we probably will not get along…I don’t want cooking odors permeating the house all day. Other than that, you can use the kitchen and fridges all you want.

I am a middle-aged male computer programmer and work at home from an upstairs office. I spend most of my time upstairs. I try to get along with everyone and I am the type of person who asks fast food workers “How’s your day going?” when I meet them. I try to brighten people’s day…it makes me feel better and hopefully them as well. We don’t necessarily have to interact much, but we will be in the same house and it would be a lot easier to establish a rapport with an intelligent open-minded critical thinker. Google the term critical thinker and you’ll know what I mean. I may decide to take off in my RV for long periods and it would be a lot easier if trust and respect the people I leave in my house. It would be hard for me to respect a grumpy rigid zealot (left-wing, right-wing, religious, etc) who is mad at the world or some group because it’s not their idea of perfection.

No smokers, drugs, heavy drinkers. I don’t think day sleepers would work very well either…I sometimes work in the garage with power tools and don’t want to tiptoe around during the day. Must pass background check and have a good credit score.
