Hi! I just graduated from UChicago in June, and I am moving to NYC for a job that starts October 5. I want to go to medical school, but I am taking the next two years to work as a clinical assistant at a fertility clinic to gain experience and enjoy life before going back to school.
I am pretty easy-going, and though I usually keep earlier hours on work days, I enjoy going out (or honestly staying in and doing wine, a movie, games, etc.) as well. I keep common areas clean, though my room can get a bit disorganized. I am totally fine with clutter, though dishes with mold and extreme dirtiness are less acceptable (speaking from experience). I like to bake and love to run! I'm looking for someone to explore NYC with (as much as possible during COVID) and chill with in the evenings!

Available Room for Rent
Small, Sunlit Bedroom in Great Unit/Building!
We have a lovely third room open in our 3bed/1bath apartment. The available room is the one in the top right of the floorplan. The rooms are small-ish, but the living space and kitchen are really big. As such, we are looking for someone who is respectful of/clean in common spaces and wants to hang out together in them. The complex has a 24hr doorman, a game room/lounge, a patio, a roof deck, laundry, and a small gym. The unit has central heat and AC in every room, and the kitchen is really amazing. All rooms have windows (!!!) and there is extra storage for the unit and a bike room in the basement. The price was negotiated down significantly for this unit, so it is a great deal! We are looking to add a third person to a year-long lease :) Lease starts September 1!
About us:
Females in our early 20s who are clean and respectful. Neither of us are working from home, but taking COVID and precautions seriously. We enjoy cooking and baking. We like chill wine/netflix nights in as well as going out on weekends to explore and have a night on the town. One of us is a big runner and loves anything outdoorsy, and we both look forward to picnics in the park. Both will be moving to NYC from out of state (and following quarantine/testing rules upon arrival) after graduating university this spring. We are LGBTQ+ and BLM apartment.
About you:
Female at a similar point in life (can legally drink but doesn't necessarily have it all figured out yet). Able to pay on time (guarantors accepted). Nice and chill person who will be a great addition to our apartment! Also open-minded and respectful.
