I am originally from Alabama. I am a graduate student at FIU doing a PhD in chemistry. I attend church in Miami at VOUS church where I serve on the audio team. I have 2 cats named Marie and Nala. I am the only person that really takes care of them but they are very social and love other people. Because I am a graduate student my work hours and schedule change frequently. So some days I am home and some days I am at school. I tend to be gone from the house on Sundays because of church so I leave really early and then come back late. I like to hang out with friends but mostly not at the house unless the other roommate agrees. I try to be quiet when necessary and if I’m bothersome, just let me know.

Room for Rent In Townhouse
It’s a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with two floors.
Both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor
There is a master bath which is upstairs and a guest bath downstairs.
My previous roommate and I shared the top bathroom since it has two sinks.
The room is 10 ft x 13 ft. It is painted a tan and brown color with curtains and some paintings already hung up. However, they can always be moved and you can hang up whatever you like. The room is also furnished with a bed, dresser, two night stands, and a chest of drawers. The closet is a walk in closet with lots of storage and shelving for belongings. The photos of the room are on the Facebook listing.
The house is also furnished with a desk and chair that is available for use.
The townhouse has a living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is a large tv in the living room along with a couch and chairs. The dining room has a table and chairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas stove and oven, along with a large refrigerator and freezer. I have a lot of the cooking utensils and normal eating utensils if you would like to use them, but you definitely don’t have to. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The back patio has a table and chairs and is concrete. There is a trash bin outside that can go out two times a week and recycling that goes out every other week.
Parking for a car is in visitor parking, however this is right near my space and it is never full so you don’t have to worry about not being able to park. It’s $25 for the tag and sensor to be able to get into the gate.
Rent is $1000/month
Utilities that are included are the water, internet, trash, and some other things in the HOA fees that come from the rent.
The electricity and gas run about $60/month per person. Those are paid to me and then I pay the bill.
