I am a new graduate trying to find work in Toronto and had to move back to Sudbury in the meantime so the move-in date is dependant on finding work. I am married and looking for a place for my husband, Steve and myself. I am vegetarian and I like to cook. My husband used to be a chef so we like food and to entertain and he is Italian so he will cook for the house quite regularly if that is of interest and you help with the cost of food! We are relatively quiet, love music though and both of us play instruments that we'd practice and play from time to time. We play disc golf on our time off and like to travel. We like to keep things clean, and though I don't drink, my husband is a social drinker. We would like a space that is couple friendly and we are LQBTQA+ friendly. We would prefer non-smokers (both tobacco and weed) and no pets as he is quite allergic. I am a very light sleeper, therefore noise transfer is definitely important to me and I always try to be as conscious about disturbing people's sleep because of that. I lean toward being a night owl on my off time, but must get my 8 hours no matter what! We want a space we can feel comfortable in and use the entire space, not just our bedroom. We love tv and movies (especially me!) He is a sports fan while I love my European crime dramas, soaps and period dramas! We love Harry Potter and murder mystery games, walking through the city, going to karaoke and I LOVE pubs and great live music, especially Irish trad. I love all things Ireland, so anyone from Ireland would obviously be an ideal roomie, especially if you are an Irish speaker as I am trying to learn the language and spent the last 2 summers in Connemara at an immersive language course. We love Europe and that sort of work-life balance that emphasises free time spent with like-minded people socialising appeals to us. We love the laidback lifestyle of Europe and do not care to get caught in the rat race. We prioritise our free time, but are responsible and take care of our obligations.
