About Me

Hi,

I live in a doorman building with gym, indoor pool, rooftop lounge, sauna and laundry on site located at 95th street and 3rd avenue. It has two bedrooms. It has a converted wall that goes all the way to the ceiling for complete privacy. It looks and feels like a true 2 bedroom apartment (photos). I am a dentist in a hospital and I work as a researcher full time. I am looking for a drama free roommate who is comfortable with a clean, quiet, space.

The rent is approximately $1640 per person (with a new lease). Roommate has to sign a new lease and be approved by the management (600 and higher credit rating). Gym costs are separate and optional if you want to use the gym($60/ month). Utilities are separate and around $100/ month per person (electric and internet and might be more in the summer if the AC is on). Heat and hot water is included in the rent.

First month's rent, last month's rent and security deposit is required. It is cheap as it is a converted one bedroom with walls that go to the ceiling. There is a wall lease that has to be renewed too. Around 150/ person one time fee.

I am clean and friendly and we clean the common areas once a week, keep counters and rooms clean in the common areas. I don't bring the party home and I am looking for the same. It's a comfortable sized apartment.

The apartment is fully furnished except for the room for rent (you have the option of buying the previous roommates furniture which is a bed and dresser, around $400 or best offer). The bedroom for rent has a full wall to wall, floor to ceiling closet and big windows with a lot of natural light. The apartment comes with well stocked kitchen appliances, pots and pans.

If looking to bring random hookups home, this is a bad fit. A significant other can be over in the private space, maximum 2 or 3 times a week as it gets cramped if a 3rd person is in the space longer.

This will be my 4th year in this apartment and I love the location and it's very safe. Two minutes walk to 6 and Q trains. Whole foods is around 6 blocks away and Starbucks is one block away.

Please contact me if you are interested in the apartment. Thanks!
