Two bedrooms, two bath 930 sq ft condo in Uptown Phoenix for $600/mo.

Renting a bedroom with a walk in closet and personal restroom- unfurnished.
Open living room kitchen and dining w small patio on the second floor.
Washer/dryer
Gated community with gate code entry.
Parking is uncovered in the gated area.

Require first and last month's rent, with a $500 security deposit, $40 background check.
Split utilities- internet, electric, cleaning supplies.

The Owner covers water/trash.
Security camera privately owned.
Pool, workout area(?), bike storage and common area grill.
Centrally located, I-17 is up the street, the 51 and the 10 are in proximity 10-15 minutes access. So, the place is pretty much 20-25 minutes from everywhere around the valley. We are within walking distance of the light rail, Fry’s grocery, LA Fitness/Planet Fitness, AJ’s, cafés, pubs, eateries, fast food, boutique shopping, lifestyle stores, city parks, canal walk, locally owned pharmacies and restaurants. As well, Sprouts, Natural Grocer, Safeway, Walgreens and the US Post Office are down the street on 7th. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are 7 minutes away on Camelback going west.
All colleges and universities are 5-11 minutes away.
Must be comfortable with and love dogs!
I have a Doggo mix who is very sweet and friendly. Recently I rescued two chihuahua brothers that are precious!
The kitchen is small but accommodates two people without a problem. I cook, but not much.
NON-smoker, NON-negotiable!
No incense, please. Sage, sweet grass, and herbal aromatherapy are great. I do sage my home on a regular basis (FYI).
Not accepting anyone on probation.
420 is fine and social drinking.
Light food frying is okay now and again, but not on a regular basis due to mess, smell and rug on kitchen floor.
No children-visitors or pets as my place is small and not kid proofed.
No couples please. Partners who stay over more than one night a week will have to have a background check, and an increase in rent.
I am a liberal and progressive teacher of 22+ years. I am looking for someone responsible, respectable and self-reliant who loves and enjoys dogs.

I stay up late hours, but I am quiet. I am home quite a bit but getting ready to start full time work again with late hours coming to an end!
