Available Room for Rent

1 Roommate needed, $900/month + utilities, Malden Available Jan 1, 2025

I'm a trans man and my roommate is a cis woman. We are looking for a for one roommate in a large 3 bedroom apartment. We are open to living with most people except for cis men, for our personal comfort and safety. This apartment has a lot of space, including a sun room, living room, dining room, storage in the basement, and a front and back balcony. There are coin-op laundry machines in the basement.
It's located near downtown Malden (5 min walk) and the orange line (2 minute walk).
The rent is $900 a month. Utilities are not included but split 3 ways, it's usually no more than about $80.00 per month.
This is one of the older houses in the Boston area, so it is not well equipped for accessability needs. We are on the second floor and there are handrails on one side of the stairwell, but no elevators. No grab bar in bathroom.
This is a month-to-month rental, but we prefer to have someone who is planning to stay for at least one year, possibly longer term.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, easy to get along with, and cat friendly!
Our preference would be someone close to our ages, late 20s though mid 30s (though we may still consider people a little outside of that range), and who is a working professional.
No drugs/smoking/vaping allowed.
You would be living with two roommates, and a very good kitty! We cannot have any other animals.
Parking is on the street, and you will need to buy a parking pass from the town.
