Room Available in Sunny Park Slope Apartment

We are two professional women in our mid-twenties enjoying our sweet home in Park Slope. We are looking for an employed, female-identifying, and kind person to join our apartment for one year. Our lease is up at the end of December 2023, but our plan (notwithstanding a large hike in rent) is to renew. Utilities are not included in the rent but they typically run about $50-$75/month, depending on the season.

We are hoping that YOU enjoy cultivating and maintaining a clean space, never bring the party home, are respectful and considerate, are a non-smoker, reliably pay your rent and contribute to shared responsibilities, and want to have a sweet friendship with your roommates (us!).

The room has two large windows and faces the street. It is available furnished, although if there are things in the room that you aren't interested in, we can consider moving them out. There is no closet in this room, but it currently has a shelving unit with a hanging clothes section for personal storage. It also fits a full size bed.

The apartment has three bedrooms in total, a shared living room that is quite large, and a fully equipped kitchen & bathroom. As roommates we treat our apartment as our sanctuary away from the city, so it is important to us that it is dependably peaceful and clean. We are looking for a roommate who will naturally fall into a similar routine — we love to catch up in the kitchen and hang out while we make dinner, but we are very respectful of one another's space after long days of working and heavily value our time to veg!

The apartment is centrally located in beautiful Park Slope — only a 3 minute walk from the F/G trains, countless cafes/restaurants/shops/grocery stores, and an 8 minute walk from Prospect Park. 15 minutes to lower Manhattan.

Our apartment is fully furnished — you would not need to provide anything upon move-in for the common spaces. We are looking for someone to move in on April 1st, though we are open to an earlier move-in date if you're interested.
