James Shani is the Founder & CEO of Madison + Vine, a leading creative studio producing work at the intersection of advertising and entertainment. In short time, the studio has done work for Lady Gaga, John Legend, Gatorade, Pepsi, Taco Bell and Land Rover, among many other brands.

His professional path has been ripe with interesting detours — each one contributing to the strategic approach to his work. The entrepreneur put himself through undergrad at USC, where as a sophomore he produced his first music video for Nick Cannon. This and other music video work, led to a joint venture with legendary music executive, Troy Carter, when Shani was still a senior in college. As the youngest founder of a venture of this type to ever be formed in the music industry, Shani honed his style of producing for a who’s who of music artists including Lady Gaga, John Legend, John Mayer and Meghan Trainor.

Currently, Shani is a guest lecturer at USC and an angel investor in startups at the intersection of tech, media, and entertainment. He was recently named to the 2017 Forbes 30 under 30 list for his achievements in Marketing & Advertising.
