More about me: I’m a 25 yr old female with a full time job (working 3 days in office). I also have a chihuahua named Alfie, so you would have to not mind sharing the space with him! I am looking for a roomie I can become friends with..we are not just saying hi to each other when we pass by lol
I work in recruiting, and go to office 3 days a week. I am definitely more of a homebody, and require someone who is working, or has a similar schedule (no late owls please!). I like to keep the unit clean, including common/shared areas, and will typically clean everyday (dishes, countertops, vacuum, floors etc..).
About Alfie: he is super well trained and will quickly become your bff if you let him. He is crate trained (meaning he does not free roam when I am not home). He sheds mostly during Spring/Fall so you would need to be okay with being in that environment. He will bark at any strangers coming into the unit, but is super friendly with people once he knows them. Alfie has a designated potty area on the balcony, which I tend to. During the day when I am at the office, Alfie will literally hang out all day in his crate, to the point you will forget he’s there :)
Some non-negotiables to get out of the way:
absolutely no smoking inside the unit (tabacco/weed)
no partners/friends staying over for extended periods (i.e weeks at a time)

Renting out a private room and bathroom in a 2 bed 2 bath unit
Hey!
I am currently looking for a female roommate to share a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit in the Yorkville area. I am hoping to find a responsible and friendly individual to share the living expenses and create a comfortable living environment.
Here are some details about the living arrangement:
Ideal move in date: Sep 1, 2023 (can adjust it sooner based on your requirements if needed).
Location: Yonge and Bloor intersection. Attached to both the yellow and green line subway.
Unit details: 2 bedrooms (both with windows and doors), 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, laundry onsite, balcony, corner unit. You will have the 2nd bedroom, and 2 bathroom (bathroom not ensuite).
Rent: $3,490 per month, divided equally. You will be asked to provide 12 post dated cheques upon move in. You will also need to provide first and last month payments.
Utilities: $120 dollars a month for Toronto Hydro and Wifi, divided equally.
Lease: This is a 1 year lease. You will be taking over the lease from my current roommate, this will involve a $400 charge to update the lease agreement, which you will have to coordinate directly with Property Management Toronto. The landlord will also request a credit check, security check, etc..
Furnishing: The unit is entirely furnished, your room included.
