About Me

Hi! I am originally from Phoenix, AZ and moved to NYC last fall for my Ph.D. program. In the past, I've lived in big houses with lots of roommates and loved it. I'm pretty easygoing and get along with a lot of different types of people. I have a small, shy but friendly cat that I adopted last fall (she is 7). Before I adopted her, she lived with other cats and dogs, so she would get along with another animal. I currently live in a studio in Hell's Kitchen but learned how much I dislike living alone! I love having people around. Although I'm somewhat of a homebody now due to the pandemic and being new to the city, I like to have friends over, go out for dinner/drinks etc, and I like to host people too for dinners. I am on a stricter budget than I'd like to be since I recently began grad school, so I'm thrifty but enjoy being fancy too haha.

I go to Columbia so I'd like to live generally on the West Side. Anywhere between Chelsea and UWS (~80th St and Broadway ish) is ideal. I'd love to find a decently sized 2BR for around $3000 total. Ideally we would find 1.5 baths but it's NYC??? Lol.

My maximum monthly budget 1,500

We think Mossie would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
