Apartment Info: It is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment located on the 2nd floor (stair accessible) of an apartment complex at The Reserve at Walnut Creek. Rent is $703 per person a month, and utilities (Water, electric, and internet) typically range $90-135 a month per person, depending on the time of year and overall usage. In all, it's typically $793-838 a month per person throughout the year. Normally, you'd be paying around $820 or less.

The apartment is roughly 20 min from campus, making it a conformable commute time. The complex and neighborhood is safe, clean, and peaceful. Parking is free and off-street; and the unit is fully furnished, including washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and stove. Included in the rent, you'll have access to the complex's clubhouse, pool, fitness center, theater, and office space to use their computers and printer.

There is a $50 application fee to apply for the screening process. Given that I am already on the lease, the background check should be easy, and the landlord can add you to the lease afterwards. Also, you must be open to getting renter's insurance if the landlord deems it necessary.
