Hey there! I’m looking for a roommate to take over the second queen-size bedroom in a beautiful 2B/1B apartment in Greenpoint starting September 1, as my current housemate is moving out of town.
The apartment is just a 5-minute walk from the G train and about 20 minutes from Midtown. Amenities include a fully equipped gym, a furnished rooftop with gas grills and great skyline views, a recreation room, a business center/co-working space, laundry room, package room, bike room, parking garage, and a live-in super.
Rent is $2,287/month plus utilities.
This is a lease takeover through April 2027, with the option to renew directly with the landlord thereafter.
Requirements: annual income of at least 40x your share of the rent and a credit score of 650+. The application process will be handled directly through the landlord.
A little about me: I’m Alberto, a 28-year-old lawyer originally from Italy, living and working in NYC. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me behind a camera, at the gym, swimming, traveling, or checking out new restaurants and bars around the city. I’m active, clean, organized, and I like to keep shared spaces tidy— I’m looking for someone who feels the same way.
I value a clean, respectful, and quiet home environment. During the week, I usually go to bed around 11:30 PM and wake up early for work and the gym. Weekends are more relaxed, and I’m often out with friends, traveling, or exploring the city, and sometimes like to host a couple of friends.
What I’m looking for: someone responsible, clean, and respectful of shared spaces. Ideally, you have a similar weekday schedule and appreciate a home that feels calm and comfortable. Keeping common areas clean is important to me (for example, no dishes left in the sink overnight), and I’d love to live with someone who takes pride in maintaining a pleasant living environment.
