Hi there!..please read below, a lot of details to help you decide 👍 :

I'm looking for a new roommate for June 1st..congenial easy going mellow quiet working creative straight guy here looking for someone (male, female, they) who's congenial and easy going too (I've been told I'm a very good & considerate roommate), I'm looking obviously for someone respectful, nice, not a crazy party type, no drama, someone who knows paying the rent and utilities on time, chips in with the usual easy apt chores time to time (keeping things reasonably clean and orderly) someone with a job, someone who understands about quiet times, has their own thing going on though of course yes we can chat whenever we see each other. And oh the rooms are on opposite ends of the apartment so we won't be sharing a wall or anything like that..more privacy for each of us. Between the two rooms there's a nice distance that includes the living room/kitchen area and the bathroom off to the side in a mini hallway. I don't hang out in the middle area that much apart from making quick meals, usually quick easy dinners. There's some furniture in the middle area already that can be rearranged or more can be added if you like.

Room is nice and roomy, sunny, decent closet, 2 windows, Apt is on top floor so no one above the apt with stepping and other sounds, a nice plus for sure. The room comes unfurnished. Also for some of the photos I used a photo editor to erase out my current roommate's things (books, devices, clothes, shoes) to give you a better idea of what the room looks like without his stuff there, just fyi. Also, you'll be getting the significantly bigger room out of the 2 bedrooms btw. The building itself is pretty quiet and chill. I hardly hear the neighbors at all, no loud noises at all.

Apt is located in the northwest tip of Bushwick bordering with Bedstuy and Williamsburg..convenient location with the subway lines J and M right nearby and the G and L in walking distance. Lots of nice food options, bars, laundry mats, supermarkets, and various stores all around. And there's a little park area called Beaver Noll nearby as well. Williamsburg, Bedstuy and other parts of Bushwick all in easy walking distance as well.

You would be on the lease with me for a year til June 27 (I might renew for another year then or I might not, have to see, you can decide if you want to renew with me or maybe you'll want to move on for whatever reason, all good) and you would need to be approved by the property mgmt people. So proof of income/references or a guarantor for yourself is needed. Credit score too if possible. The mgmt want my new roommate approved by the end of April so I hope to meet some good candidates in the couple weeks ahead soon..reason why I'm starting to look now for someone. The current roomie -- he's been great to live with -- plans on leaving end of May to live in a studio apt.

Your rent would be $1350 a month plus your share of the utilities which aren't much -- Gas, electric, internet. You would just have to pay one month's deposit when signing the lease.

I'll be around usually late afternoons or early eves to show the place and the room..I'm available weekends too.

I'll say the living situation is great for 2 mellow respectful people living in a nice convenient location in a top floor apartment.
