I am 35 yr old female that manages an art gallery during the day and paints weeknights/weekends at my art studio or in my room. My job is a M-F, 10am-6pm. Sometimes I work at the office and then there are days where I work from home in my room. Once the weather warms up a little, I like being out a lot (beach, park, rooftop bar, etc.)
I am pretty quiet at home and usually keep to myself in my room, but I can be social and am up for sharing a drink occasionally. I am also very tidy and clean, so I am looking for someone who also likes to keep a very clean environment. I am normally ok with guests but would like to keep visitors to a minimum during this time due to covid precautions. Occasional guests are fine, but I just want to be mindful of the potential risks of exposure.

I'm looking for one roommate to live in 1 furnished bedroom in a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. Rent per month is $975 (price includes all utilities such as internet, gas, electricity, water). The apartment is 1/2 a block from the Montrose stop on the L. There's a 24-hour grocery and a laundromat one block away. There are also several great bars, restaurants, and shops in the area.
The room is already furnished with a full-size futon bed and a couple of other shelving/drawer pieces. The room is long and narrow (it's about 15' x 5') but it is quite cozy and there are very high ceilings. There is a big closet in the bedroom and there is a window that opens to the inside of the apartment towards the kitchen. The AC is in the kitchen, so that does well to cool the bedroom. There is a tiny living room between the two bedrooms with a small sofa and a large flat screen tv.
I am looking for at least 6 months rental but also open to extending it longer.
