About Me

Young for my age, I don't look or act like someone's grandfather. I'm an introvert and not a party animal, and I wouldn't like parties, frequent guests or loud music around me - especially when I'm trying to write. But I stay with my girlfriend most weekends so as long as things don't get too loud for the neighbors, weekend socializing would be fine. Because of my regular absences I need someone I can trust to leave my stuff alone and stay out of my bedroom, and trust to make their rent payments each month. I'm comfortable sharing the space with either sex.

I'm politically liberal but not rabidly so, though I couldn't stand being around a MAGA disciple. I've messed around with different spiritual and psychospiritual disciplines but I'm not a True Believer and proselytizer about anything. I was a philosophy major in college and am still kind of a lazy intellectual. I'm an ex-actor and singer - I miss it but I couldn't go back to it. I'm not interested in competing or confronting, which is a disadvantage in this world but so be it.

Furnished room (bed, dresser, nightstand) with a view of a tree-lined street in pleasant South Pasadena, where even the police are nice. Hardwood floor, ceiling fan, window A/C in the living room. Full access to bathroom, living room with streaming TV, and kitchen. Free wi-fi. Laundry in building. Only 3 neighboring apartments. Street parking, though we can discuss your paying for my one covered parking spot. I'm asking you to pay half the rent, presently $2100 but it goes up $150 a year, and half the utilities, which aren't a lot.
