Two guys seeking third roommate in a three bedroom and a two and a half bath townhouse in Echo Park.

The unit is a three floor townhouse – 1st floor) garage. 2nd floor) common areas and 1/2 bath. 3rd floor) bedrooms and shared bathroom.

The private bedroom is simple (approximately 150 square feet). One door. One window. One closet. Enough room for a queen mattress; however, the stairs are too narrow for a box spring. Regular mattresses are no problem.

Rent includes: 1 private bedroom. The upstairs bathroom (shower) is shared with only one other roommate; however, the downstairs ½ bath takes some of the load off the sharing. All the common areas living, dining, kitchen, porch, yard are shared equally among all three roommates. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, microwave dishwasher, and a lot of counter space. Central air conditioning and heat. The common area has a respectable A/V setup. There are speakers on the porch if you want to enjoy some tunes in the sun. You have a dedicated parking space inside a private 2 car garage. A washing machine and dryer inside the garage. There is storage space in the garage. A private porch with a beautiful westward view (sunsets) and access to a small yard where one can hang a hammock.

We promote a clean, respectful, and fun environment. We are working professionals and creatives. Both of us hold advanced degrees. We have experience in the entertainment industry. We understand those who keep unusual hours for work. Strong social skills and communication skills are high priorities. This isn’t just a cold room for rent situation. We are a small community. We both exercise liberal political views. We love movies, television, many different forms of music, fine art, photography, physical fitness, and jokes. We joke around a lot. Not in a mean way, but anyone with a sense of humor will probably find themselves laughing a great deal.

The complex is walking distance from Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Live Music Venues, Boutiques, Grocery Stores, Pharmacies, Farmer’s Market, Echo Park Lake, and Dodger Stadium.

The current rent is $1084/month. Utility bills (electric, gas, internet) are approximately $130/month. Rent and bills are shared equally among all three housemates. The management company requires a CREDIT CHECK and rental agreement for any prospective roommate. This is not negotiable. The management company requires proof that prospective tenant earns three times the rent, or they require a cosign on the lease.
