Hi, my name is Mark. I’m 36 years old, and I’m currently looking for a room to rent in the Oklahoma City area. I’ve been sober for almost five years, and I’m at a point in my life where I’m focused on maintaining a stable, peaceful, and responsible lifestyle.

I work full-time in downtown Oklahoma City, and I’m also attending school. Between work and school, I stay pretty busy, so my typical routine is fairly simple: I go to work, come home, work on my homework, relax, and occasionally play some video games. I have my own reliable vehicle, I don’t smoke, I don’t have any pets, and I generally don’t have people over. I’m a very private and reserved person, so I’m not someone who is going to have friends coming and going or turn the house into a party spot.

I’m currently looking to move because of an ongoing situation with my current roommate and his girlfriend. I’m happy to explain the circumstances in more detail if necessary, but I’d rather discuss that privately once I’ve found a potential room and we’ve established that it could be a good fit. There isn’t any drama I’m looking to bring with me—I’m simply looking for a more comfortable and peaceful living situation.

As a roommate, I’m pretty easygoing and respectful. I clean up after myself, I’m not a messy person, and I understand that everyone has their own routines and personal space. I can cook for myself and would absolutely be willing to contribute to household chores, cleaning, or anything else that needs to be taken care of. I believe that when people share a home, everyone should do their part to keep the place comfortable and maintained.

Most importantly, I’m looking for a place where I can come home after work or school and relax. I’m not looking for anything complicated—just a clean, safe, respectful, and peaceful place to live.

I would definitely prefer to meet any potential roommates before making an arrangement. I think it’s important for everyone to get a chance to talk, get a feel for each other, and make sure we can comfortably live together. I’m looking for a good fit for everyone involved, not just a place to sleep.
