I’m a 33 year old cis male who is open, patient, friendly, analytical, and very outgoing. I’m also neurodivergent (ADHD), queer (bi), and generally gregarious. I’m currently in a Master's program and I spend several nights a week studying at a nearby coffee shop. I’m a public servant who works 8-5, m-f, but I also like to kick back on my time off and I have friends over semi-regularly. I love to cook and bake and do so several days a week. When it comes to substances, I mostly partake on the weekends or in social settings with friends.
I'm currently looking for a roommate who is financially stable, has reliable income, and is generally clean/neat. Race, background, gender, and orientation don't matter - what's important is that you are a kind person and a good communicator. Bonus points if you like karaoke, disco, D&D, sci-fi, trash horror flicks, and art popups. I don't need to be best friends with my roommates, but it helps to have a few things in common. I'd say that my ideal home is equal parts silly and serious.
*Note* - My personal budget is closer to $1,200/month, but Diggz won't let me change that part of my profile. Also, since my bedroom is larger, I'll be paying closer to $950+/month and whomever moves in would be paying about $765/month.

Available Room for Rent
$765 / month (includes utilities) - 1br for Rent in a 2/1 near Mueller
Howdy folks,
I’m looking to fill a single room with a tentative move-in date of July 1st. NOTE - There is small chance that my current roommate renews the lease for another year, then subleases in about a month (sometime in late July/early August) since she might be moving out of state. Please keep this in mind when reaching out.
The Room:
Rent is $650/month before utilities, which average about $115/month. It’s the smaller of two rooms at about 10’x11’ (~110 sq ft not including closet space) with a window looking into the private, green backyard. It has a large closet and some bookshelves built in to the wall that only allow for a queen bed or smaller.
The House:
Except for your room, the house is completely furnished including a full kitchen, living, dining area, dishwasher, appliances, and a laundry room with a W/D. The single bathroom is shared with a full tub/shower. We also have fast internet and access to basically all streaming services. There is also a fenced backyard and a small front porch area that is underutilized.
Location:
The location is terrific and maybe one of the best things about this spot, besides for the price. It is 4 minutes from the Mueller HEB, 8 minutes to plenty of East Austin bars and restaurants, and about 12 minutes from downtown. The neighborhood is safe, generally bustling, and close to some walking loops. For parking, you’ll have an uncovered driveway spot and there is plenty of street parking for friends, etc.

+ One month’s rent as a security deposit will be required prior to move in
+ The landlord with perform a credit check and income verification
+ Pet friendly! (deposit required) I don’t have animals, but I love them dearly
