Looking for a solo roommate (no couples) to share 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment in Normal Heights. The unfurnished room is available November 1, 2025.
The monthly rent is currently ~$1000.00 (annual increases in September). Rent is due the first of each month. Rent includes water and trash.
THE APARTMENT COMPLEX:
The apartment complex is gated and quiet with 7 units total. The building is near a bar and restaurant so occasionally there is some noise during nights and weekends, however it is not excessive. The complex is located on Adams Avenue between the 805 and 15.
There's a small outdoor patio.
The two rooms are adjacent to each other and one shared bathroom. There's a small kitchen but no dishwasher.
Community laundry room (washer/dryer) is located on-site. There is also a laundromat within walking distance.
PARKING:
There is one off-street parking spot that we share. Street parking is available but can be difficult to find depending on time of day.
LOCATION:
The apartment is within walking distance of many restaurants on Adams Avenue. It is also near the 11 bus stop. North Park and Kensington are close neighborhoods.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
-We have to split the gas/electric bill and internet (~$90 - $150, depending on energy usage).
-Expected to be clean, tidy, and willing to share common living spaces
-Please no pets.
