I WFH in tech 12–8pm M–F. I’m very nocturnal, introverted, and home-oriented. I love solitude, but I do like being friendly and coexisting warmly. I use the common spaces frequently, especially the living room.

Loudest things I do: TV, work meetings, laughing loudly, and talking to my cats like family. Quirky but respectful. Interests include indie films, prestige TV, writing, poetry, thrifting, books, and art. Dining room is an art room, you’re welcome to use it. Mostly pescatarian.

PETS:
Two very sweet indoor, neutered male cats. Unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional pets although I love them. One cat does not tolerate other animals. Must love (all animals) but specifically cats and be comfortable living with them — they are fully spoiled and relating to them is non-negotiable. Living with cat experience is preferred. You don’t have to do anything, 0 responsibility I just want you to coexist lovingly (and not let them outside lol)

CLEANLINESS / PEST TRANSPARENCY:
Cleanliness is important. The unit had a pest issue prior to my move-in, but it’s been under control with regular treatment, and I haven’t had recent problems. Being garden-adjacent, the occasional mouse can happen, and I’m proactive about prevention. Happy to answer questions transparently.

VIBE / GUESTS:
This is a pretty calm household. I live quietly and the cats prefer that, so I’m looking for someone whose lifestyle generally aligns with that.

Friends, family, and partners are welcome to visit or stay. I do have out-of-town friends/family stay about once a month for 3–5 days. My fav bar is Slammers but I don’t go out or drink a lot unless said friends are visiting.

Small gatherings and special occasions (birthdays, etc.) are totally fine. Large or frequent parties would need to happen elsewhere. I’m not looking for a regular party environment or a steady stream of unfamiliar people. Lived at a show house in the past. I value feeling safe and settled at home, so I’m most comfortable with roommates who usually have guests they know well. Totally understand the occasional lesser known overnight house guest, we’ve all been young lmao — just not a revolving-door. A heads-up before guests is appreciated whenever possible.

SUBSTANCES / SMOKING:
• Weed is fine.
• Hard drugs are a no.
• Light recreational use of other substances is okay if contained and not excessive.
• I vape inside; non-negotiable — heads-up in advance.
• Weed isn’t limited to outside, but must be kept away from the cats; one has asthma. I don’t smoke, but loved ones do and you’re welcome to!
• Cigarettes outside only, with an ashtray.
• Drinking is fine; I’m just not looking for a heavy, always-on drinking environment. Alcohol needs to be put away when my family visits.
