My name is Katia Pereira, I am 23 years old and doing my masters in Comparative Literature in the University of Puerto Rico, I graduated from a bachelors in Creative Writing and have worked over 3 years in archiving the collections of pioneers of Puerto Rican theater.

This has allowed me the opportunity to attend the Junior Fellows Program in the Library of Congress. I have faced the wall of financial burden DC has to offer for a broke grad student which is why I am here. Open to finding a roommate, my only conditions are that you are a woman, around my age, clean, responsible with payments and just nice.

I need to live close to the metro station and ideally somewhere safe. If we converse I can share some options that could best fit for us.

I don't drink or smoke and I am not known to party, so you are getting a pretty chill person with me. I have absolutely no problem if you engage in either (as long as you don't smoke indoors). I actually like a more extroverted person to balance me out.

If you have a cat or dog you would literally make my stay so joyful.

I would be working 8 hour days 5 days a week for 10 weeks. The internship will be paying me. Although my human nature is to be more of a stay in home person I really want to use my free time to explore in DC.

About me? I really love theater, history, old Hollywood movies, Kpop and writing. A strange combo ik. It's a no on my end if you are a homophobe/transphobe and or racist. I will be alone in DC, know no one there, so if we could at least be friendly that would be a great +.
