I'm a special ed teacher in the early intervention autism field. I was a journalist before I switched to special ed via NYC Teaching Fellows, and I still do freelance journalism on occasion. I'm also working on a book that involves reconnecting with old students in the S. Bronx.

I have a friendly, medium-sized dog, Gusto. He's a retriever mix (Flat-coated Retriever and Chesapeake Bay Retriever). He's 10 years old and still has some fun puppy energy. He's fully house-trained. Gets along great with other dogs but cannot live with cats.

I recently moved back to NYC from Hawai'i and am looking to find a room with responsible, mature, friendly roommates who love dogs. I'm clean, respectful, organized, and reliable.
