The boring stuff: I work on a wetland ecology research team at Loyola University Chicago. I have to be in person pretty much all the time and I take a lot of trips to Michigan for field work. I am gluten free (completely devastating) but I won't get sick from having it in the house or using shared cookware or things. I am an extrovert broadly but not a morning person - so most of my chattiness comes out in the evenings.

The fun stuff: In my free time I love hanging out at dive bars, the lake, crafting, and watching movies. I also go climbing at First Ascent for fun and take some of their yoga classes. I am an environmental scientist so I compost food scraps and save all my salsa/pasta sauce jars for reuse - but will not judge if that's not your thing. I love having sweet treats in the house and am a big mint chocolate chip ice cream girl! I also love house plants and gardening, so I'll definitely have plants inside the house and maybe a garden if we have the space/ability to do that. I also desperately want a dog but am waiting for the right living situation for this to happen - if you'd be down for living with a dog that would be a huge plus for me!

I'm looking for: I'd love to make meals with a roommate, host movie nights, and occasionally host larger gatherings (I hosted an oscar's watch party most recently for example). I keep the living spaces and kitchen pretty tidy, but I also am understanding when things take a few days every once in a while and hope to get the same understanding from a roommate! I would love to have someone to catch up about our days with after work and just chill on the couch with (I have a really nice recliner at the moment).
