Myself, Swaroop. I am a chill young-ish professional working as a VDC Manager at a Construction Firm in FiDi. I moved to NYC from India 10 years ago and lived all over the city. I have been living in this location for 2 years now and love the vibe.
I go in to work 3 days a week and work from home for rest of the week. I like to Bike and explore everything the city has to offer. I like to cook and have been feeding my current flatmate food for 6 years.
My long time buddy and flat mate is getting married and moving out. So I find myself looking for someone to take over his room.
I am not a neat freak. I just like to keep things tidy.
I don't mind a friends/family coming over some times as long as they treat the place with respect and everything gets cleaned up after.

This is a 2 bedroom apartment in a recently built luxury apartment building. We have a Rooftop with furniture and a recreation room with a pool table to host small gatherings. There are laundry machines in the building. Finding street parking isn't a huge struggle and there is car parking in the building that can be rented. Neighbors are pretty cool with moderate noise. We have a good fast food spot downstairs and some hip cafes all around. The Gates Avenue Subway station (J/Z Trains) is a 3 min walk and plenty of bus stops are at a walkable distance.
The room has a full closet on 1 wall and a large south facing window on another. It is equipped with a separate split AC unit with it's own an in-room thermostat. There is enough space to comfortably fit a Queen bed, a small work desk and a chair.
We have a money plant that inhabits one corner and would love it if you would let it stay there!
