The basics: I am moving to San Diego to attend graduate school for chemistry/engineering.

About me: I am an easy-going person that gets along with a diverse group of people. I am known as a smiley person and a kind of a clean-cut type (but I do not judge others haha). I am LGBTQ and have lived with non-LGBTQ and LGBTQ roommates in the past.

My interests: I most enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, etc.). I love to escape to nature. I also really enjoy playing and watching sports and simply trying new activities. I am an avid reader, information junkie, and I love all things science.

HOWEVER, most of my time will be consumed by school - classes, research, and teaching. So, I do not anticipate spending a lot of time at home during the school year.
