Kaitlyn C - $1,800/month

I’m looking to re-locate from Charlotte, NC for work. My timeline is to be in the city by October 1st, but I could break my lease in Charlotte should I find a good apartment/roommate sooner. My budget is around $1600-1800, but could go up depending on the situation. I’m looking to be in really any of the lower manhattan neighborhoods. I don’t care to be too far up the island.

I have a cat, but she’s beyond friendly and typically just lounges around. She has never once picked at furniture, or bitten/scratched anyone. She really acts more like a dog (and I hate when people say that, but it’s the truth)

I love to go out and explore different bars/restaurants. I would love to find a roommate that I can be close and explore all NYC has to offer with. I’m very outgoing and am looking to make friends ASAP.

I’m not a neat freak, but I do like to keep my spaces picked up and organized. I work from home a lot, but I am able to go into an office as much as I would like also, so if my roommate had something going on and needed the apartment to themselves, I could easily take my work from the office.
