As a roommate I consider myself pretty clean, mindful of common areas / shared spaces, and have lived with both friends and strangers alike in college and post-grad and have never had any problems. After college I've been working as a math tutor and a piano teacher, and have been applying to grad school for mechanical engineering. For hobbies I like to play keyboard synthesizer and guitar (all of which can be done with headphones whenever asked). I'm pretty independent and will probably be out working or with friends a lot, but would like to at least be friendly with my roommate/s as well! P.S. the dog will not be coming to New York
