One quiet guy that keeps to himself and one lady that is barely there (airline employee). Both over 30 and professional working people. They are respectful, quiet and clean people. Common areas MUST be kept clean. We are not neat freaks, but dishes left dirty for a week are unacceptable. We have respect for each other spaces and belongings. We are not the partying type. Having friends and family visit is fine, but a lot of traffic in and out of the apartment is not ideal. In a nutshell, we are friendly, easy going people that appreciate a drama free, quiet, clean home.

Nice Room in Large Quiet Apartment
Available April 1st but possibly Mid-March. In Yonkers (Just north of NYC)
The Room: Large enough for a queen bed, dresser and desk. Will be empty and unfurnished.
Has 2 windows for excellent natural light and airflow.
The rent is $900 and utilities (electric and FIOS internet) are split between the roommates. $1800 to move in (1st month's rent and $900 deposit). No broker’s fee or application fee.
The Apartment: Occupies the 3rd floor of a big 3-family house. We share a living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. At times, you will feel like you’re here alone due to the layout of the apartment. There is a large patio available which is perfect for a BBQ or relaxing in nice weather. There is also a washer and dryer available in the building.

You must pay rent ON TIME and absolutely no drugs, smoking or pets.
The area:
Very quiet neighborhood near Yonkers Ave and Vernon Place.
Bronx River Parkway is 2 blocks away
The Bee Line #7 bus (Yonkers-Mt Vernon-New Rochelle) stops right on the corner
No large apartment buildings nearby so street parking is much easier than other areas.
And you could easily live here with no car.
Within walking distance are laundromats, a bodega, wine store, Starbucks, groceries, CVS, etc.
Mt Vernon West Metro-North is right down the street (8-10 min walk)
Cross County Mall is a 15 min walk or 5 min drive
