I'm a 27 year-old male living in NYC while I go to law school at NYU. I've lived in this apartment for a year and my current roommate is moving to San Francisco so I'm looking to fill his spot in the apartment when I renew the lease in August. I will be at school most days during the week and on some weekend days. At school I'm studying environmental law. Outside of classes I've enjoyed exploring NYC, am a runner, and a sports fan. I like to unwind at night by cooking dinner or watching TV and I like to keep the place clean.

I am looking for a roommate to fill the second bedroom in a two bed, two bath apartment. The unit has a roomy kitchen living room area, a private back patio with planters, and private bedrooms and bathrooms for each person in the apartment. The shared spaces are fully furnished and include an in unit washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a shared closet. The unit is on the first floor.
The bedroom is large enough to fit a queen sized bed without a desk, or a full sized bed and probably a small desk. It includes a closet as well.
The total rent is $3500 and the available room is $1700. I am looking for someone who is interested in joining the lease or staying in the room for a year.
