Hi! I’m a 29yo former math teacher from Georgia starting a PhD in the CUNY philosophy program this fall. I’m hoping to move into an apartment on August 1st with 1-3 housemates. My budget is $1300/month, and I am searching in Manhattan near Central Park and in Brooklyn near Prospect Park, because I like to get outdoors. I hope to commute to CUNY in no more than 40 minutes. More about me: I’m an introvert who enjoys socializing with small groups of friends. In my spare time I like to go on excursions to explore, hike, and nature-watch. I also enjoy reading, playing games of all kinds (board games, card games, video games), and eating vegan food. If you want to hang out or do any of these things together, I am open to it! However, my biggest priority is housemates who are kind and willing to talk out differences. I will try to be that way myself.
